Pint Defiance 3rd Anniversary Party, Sat. Sept. 12th

Pint Defiance is turning 3 years old, and we want you here to help us celebrate. Officially, our anniversary falls on the 10th but the celebrations will go all weekend with the main festivities on Saturday—including cake, giveaways, a killer tap lineup, and the release of our brand new limited edition stainless steel growlers. Taps will rotate several times over the course of the weekend and will include one-offs and coveted favorites from Fremont, Barley Brown’s, Breakside, Goose Island Bourbon County, Trinity, Georgetown, Reuben’s Brews, Airways, and many others.

We are most excited to debut our 3rd Anniversary beer we brewed in collaboration with Airways Brewing, Strip Mall Riot IPA. Brewed by Barry, R.J., and Alex Ditmar of Airways, this unique yet approachable IPA is brewed with all New Zealand hops. We chose a very simple grain bill of primarily 2-row pale malt to provide a backdrop to really showcase all of the tropical fruit and citrus of the Nelson Sauvin, Wakatu, and Motueka hops. We also employed a hopburtsing technique which added an overall bright juicy-fruit flavor and aroma profile. We named our beer "Strip Mall Riot" as a gentle self-deprecating jab at the somewhat generic retail plazas that both Pint Defiance and Airways are located in. It will be on tap for our anniversary party for pints and growler fills, and will also be released in 22oz bottles.
