Brewer's Night with Elysian, Wed. April 3rd, 5-7PM

Join us on Wednesday, April 3rd as we host Seattle's famous Elysian Brewing company. We'll be tapping up some of their newest ales, including the Eternia IPA (w/ 100% Sorachi Ace hops), Superfuzz Blood Orange Pale, and the newly year-round Loser Pale ale.Members of the Elysian crew will be on site, schwag will be raffled off, and fun times will be had by all. Pint Defiance Goes to Hop School

Hi everyone, R.J. here. You may not have seen me around Pint Defiance this last week and that is because I've gone back to school. Specifically Hopunion's annual Hop & Brew School. This is the 10th year they've put this on but my first opportunity to attend. I've dabbled in homebrewing over the past two years and wanted to learn more about that magical ingredient that goes into the beer that we all love, especially the NW-style ales we cherish here at Pint Defiance.

A little background on Hopunion: Hopunion, LLC is the largest supplier of hops to the craft and homebrewing industries.

Here's to New Beer-ginnings

Tacoma, City of Destiny, is a place for new beginnings. As the crew of Pint Defiance prepares to open its doors next week to the thirsty beer lovers of the South Sound, we took the opportunity to get to know our neighbors a little better, and to learn about craft beer brewing along the way.
