Narrows Brewing Head Brewer, Matt Rhodes, presents us with two very special stouts. Waffles is an Imperial Breakfast Stout brewed with real Vermont Maple Syrup and ingredients from two Tacoma institutions: waffles from Waffle Stop and coffee from Valhalla Coffee Co. Spicy Waffles is a variant on the original that includes the addition of spicy local honey! Join Matt, Sean,and Zach from Narrows on Wednesday, 8/14 from 5-7 PM at Pint Defiance as we become the first folks to taste these brews side by side outside of the brewhouse!

Join us Tuesday 8/13 from 5-7 PM at Pint Defiance for a flight of beer and cheese! Local Cheesemonger Erica Baird, Cicerone Matt McLaren of Orcas Distributing LTD., and BJCP Certified Katie Johnson of Kulshan Brewing Company will guide us through some carefully selected beer and cheese pairings that will alternately excite, challenge, and sate your various appetites. This is an event geared towards beer newcomers and beer nerds alike so there will be something for everyone as these two culinary staples are presented together in new and unique ways!

Matchless City Of Destiny IPA Launch Party! 8/11, 1-4 PM

Our good friends at Matchless Brewing have brewed a dank, resiny NW Style IPA in celebration of Tacoma Beer Week 2019 and appropriately dubbed it City Of Destiny IPA! Pint Defiance is proud to debut this beer at a release party on Sunday, 8/11 from 1-4 PM. We'll have City Of Destiny IPA available for the first time on draft and in 4-pack cans as well as plenty of Matchless swag to give away. We look forward to seeing all of you there and getting Tacoma Beer Week kicked off right!

Belching Beaver Night,7/31 5-7 PM

This Wednesday, 7/31, from 5-7 PM we welcome Clay from Belching Beaver and his fabulous beers to Pint Defiance!

2018 Templeton Rye Barrel-Aged Horchata Imperial Stout - We unearthed this gem from the Pint Defiance Cellars! This dark beauty spent 16 months in those barrels so get it while you can!

Say "What" Again IPA - Clay has brought us this Belching Beaver taproom-only keg! This milkshake IPA is brewed with vanilla, fresh raspberries, and fresh blackberries. Yum! Just like they used to make 'em at Jack Rabbit Slim's.

Digital Bath Hazy IPA - Finally, we will be debuting this year's version

Come party with our good friends and fellow craft enthusiasts, Brothers Cascadia!! Brothers Cascadia Brewing will be bringing us their newest and finest ales and lagers on Wednesday, 7/24, from 5-8 PM!

We'll be pouring draft of:
- Helles Lager (Formerly Mateo Helles, Mateo himself will be here!)
- You Like 'A Da Juice IPA (A hazy New England style IPA with notes of orange, tangerine,and tropical stone fruit!)
- Blackberry Sour (A black currant sour that has never left the
brewery before!)

We'll have freshly canned 16 oz four-packs of:
Bold As Love NW IPA
Scandinavian Smackdown Hazy Kviek IPA
